written in Early spring is a poem written by the famous poet William
Wordsworth.The poem is about the beauty of nature.The poet is sitting in
a grove and enjoying the sounds of nature.It makes him happy. But when
he thinks about human beings he becomes sad.
In nature different
types of birds and animals live happily.Man is not happy because he has
moved away from nature.The poem is full of rhymes .It follows the rhyme
scheme abab. Personification, alliteration and images make the poem
beautiful.

The Ballad of Father Gilligan
It
is a poem written by W B Yeats. It is a ballad. The poem tells the
story of father Gilligan and the people in his parish.Father Gilligan
was very tired because the people in his parish were dying everyday.
Half of the people are already dead because of an epidemic.One day when
he was sitting in his chair a man came and informed him about a dying
man.In his tiredness father Gilligan slept and woke up only next
morning. he was so upset as he failed in his duty.He rode fast to the
sick man's house and found God had saved him by sending an angel to do
his duty.
The poem is full of images ,simile and other poetic devices. It follows the rhyme scheme abcb.
