അതിർവരമ്പുകളില്ലാത്ത സന്തോഷത്തിന്റെ നാളുകളാണ് ഓണം മലയാളിക്കു സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നത്. രണ്ടു വർഷത്തെ മഹാമാരി കാലത്തിനു ശേഷം ഓണം അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ രൂപഭാവങ്ങളോടെയും തിരിച്ചെത്തി കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഓണക്കാലത്തിനു മിഴിവേകാൻ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് ഡോട്ട് മാതൃഭൂമി ഡോട്ട് കോം(english.mathrubhumi.com) പൂക്കള മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 30-ന് ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന പൂക്കളമത്സരം പത്ത് ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കും. അത്തം മുതൽ തിരുവോണം വരെയുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാം. പൂക്കളത്തിന്റെ ഫോട്ടോ എടുത്ത് വെബ് സൈറ്റിൽ അപ്‌ലോഡ് ചെയ്താൽ മതിയാകും. ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച പൂക്കളത്തിന് 500 രൂപയുടെ ഗിഫ്റ്റ് വൗച്ചർ സമ്മാനമായി നൽകും.
Rules and guidelines:
- A person can submit only one entry daily starting from Atham (Aug 30, 2022) till Thiruvonam (Sept 8, 2022)
- All entries should be uploaded by 6 pm every day
- Each entry should contain two images -
- 1) a photo of the pookkalam
- 2) Photo of participant(s) with/without family members alongside the pookkalam
- The link to submit photos will be available on home page of english.mathrubhumi.com
- The selected winner will be announced at 10 AM the next day on the Mathrubhumi English Website
- Each contestant should mention her/his full name, contact details, e-mail ID, and phone number on the columns provided while uploading photo (The data will not be processed for any other purposes than contacting you if you win the prize of this contest)
- Editing of photos is not permitted
- Mathrubhumi reserves the right to accept or reject photos
- Photos must be original. Duplicate images will be rejected and the contestant (whoever submits second) will be barred from the contest
- Only floral carpet done at homes is allowed. Pookalams at public places or institutions will not be accepted
- Please use only natural flowers (no leaves)
- In case of disputes, the final decision will rest with Mathrubhumi
- All legal issues will be subjected within the jurisdiction of the Kozhikode court
